My gorgeous Poppy. I adopted her in November 2021 from the Animal Welfare League. She misses the house as much as I do, and deserves to be able to run up and down the long hallway, and up and down the stairs again. She's fine, but I don't like her being where she is now, in a small outdoor cat enclosure.

My desk after I had set it up, around Janaury 2021. One of the many belongings I no longer have. Spent many hours here. Monitor in the corner, PC underneath to the left side, printer (a Kyocera colour laser) left of the desk on a cupboard. These desks are still being sold. Would get it again in a heartbeat, if I get back there.

Was all set up for enjoying lovely weather outside. There was another one to the left, along with a coffee table. This is under the verandah. To the right out in the open was a rectangle glass top outdoor table setting with a large umbrella.

One of my great pleasures in life...music. Always been a big music fan, with a very wide taste. Had two of these Technics 1200s. Pictured is the MK7. I also had an original MK2 that I bought in 2001.

My bedroom all set up early 2021. BIR can just be seen right. Windows are to the left. Behind me was my existing 46" Panasonic plasma TV bought in 2009, which had recently been replaced by a $2700 LG 65" as the main TV. Absolutely loved retreating here for the night and waking up in the morning.

Taken August 2021, just after taking delivery of it. Aother thing I no longer own and miss. Got it as it was slim fit (835mm wide), and had non-plumbed ice (crushed/cubed) and water.

The other simple pleasure in my life, that I spent many hours doing whilst enjoying a beer/wine/coffee/soft drink....DXing. Checking out the 25 meter shortwave band here. I DX anywhere from the MW (AM broadcast) to shortwave, to FM broadcast bands, and sometimes beyond. This was a great set up, as I had my computer set up upstairs in the 2nd bedroom, which is at the back. It is unattached except for sharing the wall on the left of the picture with the landing. I had an MLA30+ active loop antenna raised in the room on a cupboard, located right in front of the window for a total height of probarbly 5 metres (16 feet) off ground level. I so want to be back to doing this.

My Geranium Mum had given me that was originally just a small plant in a small pot. It was growing beautifully in that spot. I hope it's still there.

My De'Longhi Eletta Explore just after it was delivered. I loved this machine and would definitely get it again. The kettle got very lonely after I got this.

The house had dishwasher provisions, so of course, I got one. Taken February 2021 just after it was installed. Never had a dishwasher before, and back there, I would get one again.
